I am thin, but my companion is thinner no matter the length. I bind holes, mend what has been separated, and can leave flowers, names, or strange designs behind me. I travel quickly or slowly, regularly or irregularly, in straight line or crossed depending on the skill, health, and purpose of the one wielding me. Men, women, and children have used me over millennia. My faithful male companion in Europe sat cross-legged to use me long before the “Indian-style” of those who traveled to the Americas. My eye is smaller than the eye of a storm, but may be larger than the eye of my beholder if I am large enough or my beholder is small enough.
